KFC Grassy Park charged me twice

On the 3rd February 13:26 I purchased at KFC Grassy Park, I asked the person for 500ml cooldrinks not the cup, she charged me for the cup, as i was busy paying with my debit card she cancelled the transaction, but it went through already, i received and sms to confirm, the manager at that time said the transaction never went through and I had to pay once more, I did explain that i would print a bank statement and return the next day.

I did print my statement and it was deducted twice i took my receipts, bank statement and sms's to the store and the manager said he spoke to Billy the area manager and he will contact me.

I then called back to Grassy Park KFC and the manager on duty (Bonita) asked me to fax her all my info, I did and she passed it on to head office.

I received and email on the 4 March saying that they can only pick up one transaction, I need to speak to my bank, I am not at fault KFC made an error which they need to rectify, so if they never got the money WHO DID?

Very unprofessional and disappointing for me as I only purchase at this KFC.
