I saw a big nail next to the table

I was standing outside next to a table. My colleague had just ordered a Pizza, I noticed a big nail, and I called a salesperson, a tall lady, dark in complexion, i told her about a big nail, asking her why dont they clean and she told me she got it there and wont remove it cause she found it there. I am suprised about her attitude which was disturbing and rude. Please teach your staff the hygiene and the way to talk to customers.
