Isabella's
What a FLOP

I have been to different Isabella's cake shops on various occasions in the past. Each one of these experiences were good. However, ON MY BIRTHDAY, 13 January 2014, I wanted to have some cake at the Parkview shop. It was on a week day and not very busy at all. We sat down, asked for the menus and started deciding what to drink. We also asked the waitress what cakes were available. She did not know, and left to go and find out. After sitting there in the blistering heat of the day for about 20 minutes she had still not returned, we left in a fury. I have never been treated so badly. We could just as well not have been there. It was as if she had completely forgotten that we were there, even though I could see her through the glass of the storefront at the counter inside. How long could it possibly take to get a list of cakes? (which by the way you should know if you work at a cake shop). I will think twice before recommending Isabella's as a whole to anybody. It also goes without saying that I won't ever go to Isabella's Parkview again.
