The end of the REAL red velvet

Isabella's is a fantastic chain. Their food and cakes nothing short of awesome.By far the red velvet cake was a draw card. I always took my out of town guests and often bought cake rounds for parties. The first day I tasted the new cake I bought 6 slices raving about it to my guests - my server did not indicate that it was a substitute - my guests were disappointed and I wasted a small fortune in uneaten cake.. Sadly the new red velvet cake is unpalatable - the icing is much like plastic and it really bears no comparison to its legendary predecessor. I have not returned since :( :( Ramona
