Spur Steak Ranches
Absolute disgusting service

We went to the Spur last night in Ottery for my brothers birthday and i have never had such bad service any where. Firstly we were seated next to the window that has direct sunlight and no blinds. I ended up sitting with my sunglasses on. When we eventually got to order, we had to explain 4 times to the waiter what we wanted and then he re confirmed 3 times. Half the burgers eventually came and then we had to wait another 10 minutes for everyone elses food to come. The "manager" came to us to apologise for the delay and explained that one of the grills had packed up - after he came we got brought about 6 burgers that we hadn't even ordered, i waited a further 10 minutes and after asking another 4 times i eventually got my normal beef burger with a slice of cheese. We also ordered 1 glass of water before we ordered the food and that only came when i got my burger. To top it all off, every 2 minutes the staff was singing happy birthday on the top of the voices, you couldnt even continue with your conversation. When we were sorting the bill out they sang 5 times in a row. Surely they should confirm if birthday is valid as it is really distracting and annoying.
