Not up to standard

I frequent Tasha's Nicolway at least 3 times a week. Most days I order a Summer Salad - suffice to say I know the salad well. Today the spinach was yellowing and tough as chewing wood bark. I spoke to one of the managers (bald guy, blue shirt, bad teeth) just to let him know that the ingredients were not up to the typically high standards one has come to expect. I was not looking for a freebie. A few minute later the "manager" returns having spoken with the so called chef. According to said chef the "spinach was just fine". It is apparent that client liaison and training at this branch is severely lacking. I was not looking for the chef's opinion or his feedback. I do not need anyone to tell me that yellow, inedible leaves are "just fine". They are clearly not fine. The menu item was sub standard. The manager, if he gave a toss about quality could take the comment as constructive and pull the item from the menu or modify it until such time as you can get ingredients that are up to standard - or not? I can assure you that I am not the only patron who notices the halo slipping!
