Dodgy food in Hartbeespoort

My wife and I went for supper and Ocean Basket in Hartbeespoort on 28 April. I ordered a dish that comes with butternut and spinach, only to be told they are out of butternut (had a similar experience a few months prior with the same dish) and would give me a side salad. The meal came as agreed, with the salad and a double helping of "spinach". My complaint is mainly about the spinach which was a smooth green paste that tasted odd/off. Both my wife and I ate some of it and agreed it wasn't great and left most of it. Early the next morning both of us, me more so than my wife (who was pregnant at the time), were "blessed" with an acute bout of diarrhea and terrible headaches - which we can only attribute to the dodgy spinach.
Posting my complaint on the Ocean Basket website on 30 April 2013 was ignored. If a restaurant or franchise cannot supply a part of there menu they should rather not offer it rather than offer a sub par meal with side dishes that are off.
