Adega
Manager/Owner mot a person of his word

Cafes, Bars, Restaurants

When one of the waiters was clearing up the tables she hit the tripod and my camera came crashing down. After careful inspection I noticed that the camera damage wasn't much (could live with it), but the lens was damaged.
I then spoke to the owner, who said not to worry because he had insurance for situations like that, i should give him the details and he would get hold of his broker and get back to me.

Waited for about two weeks and then I phoned him and then he asked me for a quote. I sent him the quote. After another two weeks, seeing there was no feedback I phoned him again. He sent me an SMS in the beginning of Nov to drop off the lens, as I was moving that month i didn't have the opportunity. In the beginning of December i dropped off the lens at the restaurant.

I went back on the 4th January and he told me that he still had the lens with him and hadn't contacted his agent as he was still on holiday!! I had two things to tell him:
he knew that the lens was broken and had all the info he asking me in dribs and drabs,
surely the process could have been started in September

He was suppose to have phoned me at the end of last week.
