Long wait

1 January 2013 and what a way to start the new year, what was supposed to be a lovely late afternoon lunch with my family turned out to be a disaster. we waited for over an hour and had no food. Complained to the waitress and the manager on duty but still waited, eventually when we decided to leave, the manager comes out to apologise and advises that she will pay for our drinks, which I declined cos my family and I were really looking forward to having a good meal together. she took my details down but to this day have not received a phone call, what was the purpose of taking down my details when you don't bother.
