No people skills. Rude can't even explain it

We made a booking on the 17-10-2013 for the Saturday 19-10-2013. When we made the booking for 22 adults & 3 kids u/d 5 we ask them what will happen if this may change. They said we can confirm the amount on that night and only pay for the persons there. I phoned them and ask if it is possible for me to come earlier to do the decorations. Get there the tables we booked had change because the roof was leaking. The manager arrange with the waiters to give me tablecloths " free of charge" because of this. He was talking to them like they were garbish. I went home. When I got back the roof was leaking there as well leaving the tablecloths wet anyway. When we complain about the 1 light he was his moaning about that. They sent the one couple home telling them the party will only start an hour later. I confirmed with the manager while they were preparing the tables that I booked for 25 people but only 20 incl the kids will join us. When it come's to paying the bill they made us pay for 25 people. Thowing the bill at us. I almost feel sorry for this guy. What went wrong? Shame. We where planing to have our year end function there. I don't think so :-( please read the fine print!
