WORST EXPERIENCE

My husband and i went to the Piatto last night for an earlyish dinner. we arrived at 7:20 to be told by the waiter that the kitchen is closing "soon" - being at 9pm!! We sat down, and waited over 15 minutes for our drinks order to be taken. Eventually they came, and we put in our food order - being a salad and 2 pasta dishes. This took over 30 minutes to be brought to us. When the food came, the pasta dishes were ice cold, and had to be sent back, as well as the fact the waiter did not bring us any cutlery at all. We had to ask him! The salad was the only decent thing last night - but also we had to remind him to bring the salad. We then called the manager to sort out the food, which he did - it came back hot, and he comp'd the drinks. But it didn't' stop there food had no flavor, there was just sauce - certainly not worth my money. Every time i tried to call Mahmoud again to speak to him, he was on his phone!! also, the waiters are few and far between - the service and attitudes of this restaurant STINK! i will not be going back to any piatto again after this experience! He didn't even want to listen, when i was trying to tell him the rest of my story.
