Adding drinks at extra price on meals

It's been the 3rd time that I have bought a meal at McDonalds in Brits and they add the drinks at the normal drink price. Which makes no sense because a meal includes a drink and chips. 1st time we ordered 2 quarter pounder with cheese meals, payed R106 for both. we had no upsize of drinks or chips. 2nd time was 4 breakfast mmuffin meals, again paid extra for the coffee, same this morning with my mcmuffin meal I paid extra for a coffee. I am not the only one in Brits complaining that we get charged extra for drinks ith meals. Or has it changed to only chips inclded in meals now?
