My fiance and I were in Hartbeespoort for the weekend. After desperately seeking a place with a kitchen open after 16h00 in the sleepy little town, we came to a reluctant mutual agreement to go to the White Water Spur.

We were greeted by the friendly and efficient Donovan, we were seated and had drinks on the table before I came back from the loo.

Donovan was prompt and his up-selling techniques were classy and clipped. He was clearly an experienced and well trained waiter with a great attitude.

Our starter, crumbed mushrooms were out of this world. they arrived on our table fresh and hot within ten min of ordering. the rest of our experience was smooth and utterly delightful.

Well done to Dylan the manager and thanks so much to Donovan our waiter, you make it worth driving to Harties from Pta to go to a Spur!!
