Spur Steak Ranches
Poor response to off meat

We decided to try the Spur in Sea Point for the first time and we wish we hadn't. I had there special 3 course meal and my fiancee had the 500g T-Bone steak. On venturing into his T-Bone we realised the meat was off and retrned it to the manager. Within 15 - 20 minutes my fiancee had been sick 3 times from their food. The manager had such poor managerial skills (including the operator who was in the store at the time and could not be bothered even to come over and apologise for serving meat that had gone off or even find out if he was okay after being violently ill from there food.)

I was really disappointed at the way in which this incident was handled, although even more upset about the fact that the meat was off and gave my fiancee food poisoning. I was lucky I hadn't eaten it as I am 5 months pregnant and this is a potential "danger" area for doing harm to your unborn baby.

With much disappointment, we will not be returning to that Spur and hope that everyone in future who does go there, ensures that there meat is fresh. I hope that this spur does not give any reflection / indication on other Spurs.
