Making their problems my problems

I went to a branch to upgrade my card and to get a consolidation loan. i was assisted and was advised that my credit card would work within 48 working hours and this was on the 25/04/2013, today is the 29/04/2013 and the request just got logged at 15:00, now is going to another 48 hours for the card to be activated, i find this to unacceptable as the branch delayed the proccess, now i'm inconvineinced becuse of the delay from the branch. please fix it as i'm not willing to wait for another 48 hours.
