Money illegally taken from my account

I phoned for a quote on a hospital plan and the person assured me that I've got 30 days to let them know if I'm not interested/happy. I called back a couple of days after he sent me the docs, seeing as I got a better quote from another company, to say that i am not interested in the hospital plan and the lady said that she cancelled the plan immediately. Then they go and debit my account for R220 two weeks later. Is this not illegal or at the least very unethical business practice?? Very upset that they obtained my banking details with. I demand my money back!!
