AIG CHARTIS HOSPITAL PLAN

My dad, aged 80, has been dealing with Chartis. over the last few years, he and my mom have been hospitalised once each. 01/2013 they stopped D/O & it was only in 04/2013 he picked up no D/O. I followed up as he is hard of hearing and they said due to his AGE it was stopped. THEY NOW DON'T HAVE A HOSPITAL PLAN. At this age - its ESSENTIAL. NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL EVER! Where to now? Who to go to? Obviously the amount was suitable for his pocket for what he got. PLEASE can someone please get my dad BACK onto the hospital plan OR can someone please let me know who else we can go to to get mom and dad onto a hospital plan at around R100.00 per month. They are both healthy - both their hospitilisation was migraine related and thats from STRESS. When I phone in 04/2013 the lady said that she would phone dad and inform him that his membership had been reinstated - whch she didn't do and then when I followed up they said his policy had been cancelled due to his age.
