I have an existing Elite account and I requested to be issued with a new card online and they gave me an incorrect card and I was told to go to a branch.

I am from the branch and they are offline, in fact that branch must have a day/time where they are off line.
Not long ago I was at the same branch and they were off line (Fact)
How are we going to do effective banking when the service does not meet our needs and the branches are forever off line?

This thing of us going to the branch every time you need a card is just behind and creating unnecessary queues at the bank whilst it can be done online. Especially for a bank that is always offline they should know better instead of sending clients away

I am not sure if Standard bank realise that there's time involved in all this whilst they are thumb sucking.
