I made an online purchase on 4 March with my Cheque card for R259, but received an sms noting R1390 has been reserved on my account. I contacted FNB to not allow the funds to go through as it was a company (sent all detail to FNB as well as Dispute Form and logged it as a case). Spend most of the day on the phone being transferred from one department to another at FNB (and holding on for long periods...) On 4 March I received an email stating "Dispute form received, FNB will respond within 48 hours". I'm still waiting for them to respond... The money has gone off my account. I have since logged a complaint, 265349 on 18 March on which I also have received no response and if I phone to enquire about my case or complaint I'm told it is with the Dispute department and they will call me back with feedback... still waiting and it has been more than a month now. So "How can FNB help me? "... by actually phoning ME and giving me feedback. I have had enough of phoning FNB, holding on and being transferred to the wrong departments.
