Hail Damage and Burst Water Pipe Claim

In December 2012 My house was destroyed with a freak hail storm. To date the claim has not been sorted out completely. No one from the bank ever phoned to check on progress or work satisfaction. The call centre in Durban is a joke cause you either kept waiting for a consult who at the end of the day can not help you or the messages you leave gets no response. On 17 April 2013 I had a burst water pipe. An the same
service i received from the storm is what i am now currently experiencing again. The pipe is repaired now but when i try to get assistance with regards to the covering up and resurfacing of the area damaged by the burst pipe no consultant can help me. When i phoned the call centre yesterday the lady that answered could not assist me and neither could she tell me who the person responsible for the claim is. I also indicated that i require assistance with both my claims as i have some concerns; she had given me the assurance that the consultants will phone me back before the end of the day. I am still waiting and the end of the day has gone. To think ABSA is one of the biggest banking institutes but their assistance and service in the time of need is really pathetic
