Billing for insurance as they see fit

I just had a phone call from ABSA stating that I'm in arrears with my account because i have failed to pay their insurance cover for my vehicle and they would like to send their lawyers to come and see me.
I have sent them proof that I have my own insurance cover for the vehicle. I find it extremely embarrassing and that the one department does not know what the other is doing. I would like a response from ABSA as to whom is going to cover the arrears charges on my account as they have deducted monies with out my consent. I think they have huge cheek and owe me an apology.
