Pathetic service and still no car or call back

My father reported a damage to his vehicle on the 7th of April. He called to log a claim and was told that no opperator was available and that they would call him back, a few hours later he ended up calling them back. He was instructed to get a quote from suspension city Maitland, who refused to give him a copy of the quote (to his own vechicle) making me wonder if there is anything that is being kept from the clients. After numerous phone calls the last person he spoke to (milly) Friday 19 April who assured him that the assessors will contact him within the next hour or two.By the weekend of the 20/21st April he had still not heard a word of the assessors and by the 22nd once again he had to call back and spoke to Leatitia just to hear the same thing that the assessors would contact him. 15days later and still no definite answer.

My 55 year old father had to travel by taxi/train. Forced to leave the house at 5:30 because of the bad service and still no repair to his vehicle.

how much more phones calls should be made before the inconvenience comes to an end or should he change his insurance after 10years of insuring with dial direct?
