Change account from ABSA to FNB

Hi,

I've been in the UK for 16 years and on my return I was told about the "Good FNB' service that is now taking over the banking services in SA. After a very poor service from ABSA over the last number of years I thought that moving to FNB would be good.

Firstly, opening an account at the Table View Branch (June 2012) - after my third attempt explaining to the staff what I need to do a young lady was assigned to help me, without asking anything about salary - just personal details a account was register against my name. I was told that I would be mailed when I need to activate the account but didn't received any emails or sms's. The next what I've received is a email stated that there are insuficiant funds in the account. this went on for 4 - 5 months, not even a the assistance of my Premier Banker it could be sorted. This then infuence my request for moving my mortgage request (move from ABSA to FNB) asking for a extended bond and the request was turned down based on the first account that was open with the direct debit and the mess trying to close that down. From there one it was just the one negative on the other and at this point intime I am really frustrated and disapp
