Bad insurance from Nedbank on family home

I'm. Insured through Nedbank should anything happen to my home, outside buildings and or fixtures like aerials, geysers, windows, water pipes etc... But when my garage door opener recently gave in they have stories not to replace it. Latest they want to give me a payout of R1800.00
That is not what I pay for on a monthly basis. I expect them to replace it after I paid my access amount of R1000.00 nothing more but it seems they can't even do something small as this.
Is it really worth me paying them monthly just to get excuses and no real action? They've send a few contractors to come and check and they all took pictures and spoke to the insurance company then they send a assessor out that came and measured the whole property? Hey, its the garage opener that went why NOW measure how big my house, lapa and swimming pool are???
This is the worst service ever! A new record for the so called new SA!!!
