Loss suffered due to incompetent admin

Alexander Forbes received instructions from my former employer to transfer my pension fund in September 2012. This week (8 months later) I discovered that AF had disinvested the funds but had NOT transferred the funds due to missing documentation. Natasha Singh from AF sent me an email at the start of Oct stating that she needed broker details. I responded to her email saying that I had received an SMS from AF stating that my funds were being transferred after i had sent the broker forms to my former employer on 19 Sept. I asked Natasha to let me know if there was still a problem. I received no response from Natasha and asssumed that everything was in order given her zero response and the SMS I had received.
It now transpires that Natasha was not bothered to respond and that AF could not be bothered to follow up with me for a further 8 months. When I discovered the issue on Wed, I made contact with one of AF's escalation agents, Neil Cornelius, who promised to provide me with an answer by 10am on Thurs 18 April. Despite various emails sent to Neil Cornelius explaining the situation and requestign an update, he has chosen to ignore my correspondence.
