It is a nightmare to get in contact with the call centre. They take half and hour to answer the call and just to know that they need to transfer my call and wait another half an hour. I have applied for an overdraft facility and really don't understand why it takes five business days before i can get feedback. Whats the delay and why do they require supporting documentation eg, salary slips when I have an existing bank account with them. The call centre staff are very incompetent and unhelpful. With other competitors in the banking industry Nedbank should up their game and provide better service to their existing customers. After being on hold for more than 30 mins they cannot even call you back because i was told that it is against their policy. They do not have the courtesy of providing you with feedback or emailing the response. We have to call numerous times to followup. This is UNACCEPTABLE service. I want a callback from the manager of this department if you care about your customers in the least bit.
