I was called by a friendly CC agent Olivia Nathoo about the various queries I've logged about inability to see SmartShopper points on the web or points not allocated etc. Olivia could only help up to a point. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told there are none available - all was in a meeting! (Did the call center run without management?). I said I think it is untrue! A minute later I spoke to Shinisha Naidoo. She was also very helpful. I explained how frustrated I was and want to cancel. She said it will take a few days and forms etc. I indicated if you want a card it is the same day and verbally. She indicated she will assist and ask the applicable persons for authority to verbally cancel the card. I asked her to mail her and Olivia's names and the recording of the call and to ask the relevant Disc Life, Investment, Medical Aid divisions to indicate how the cancellation will impact my portfolio. I did not get the mail or feedback about the impact! A call was received where I was told to that Sheron Uys gave approval to cancel verbally. Discovery refused to give me a copy if the recording of the call! I asked for a call from Sheron Uys. I was told she will call. Nothing yet
