I was offered an upgrade to a Platinum card - which I may add the benefits are just the same as my gold card (not as it is described in your email - getting more points with Pick n Pay etc). If I knew this, I would have kept my gold card. However, firstly your courier company harrasses a person 10 times a day, after you have told the first person that they can deliver it to a FNB Branch. So I called the Discovery card call centre and it took them 4 times to get this right. Also to tell the courier company to stop calling. They were still calling - apparently they don't get the message from Discovery? Also their attitude is, yes now they phoned me and demand information from me??? Anyway, to be treated like this and pay more for it, what was I thinking?
Then at the till a few moments ago... oh my card is declined. Well one of your admin people just decided this morning to cancel my card, without 1) informing me of it and 2) I have not even received my new card yet (no sms/email/phone call from the FNB branch). This is totally unacceptable, I have my medical aid, vitality, lifepolicy with Discovery as well. You decide how you want to treat me now..
