Unknown credit interest charges

For the last three months Absa having been taking 'credit interest' charges from my bank account. I am not in overdraft and have never been, however, Absa are taking it upon themselves to keep taking 2 cents, 3 cents, 22 cents - sometimes up to 3 times in one day! (On the same day they will pay me credit interest for having money in my account...??).
Having gone into a branch to get this resolved, no one was able to help or explain what these charges are for. So the charges keep appearing. Looking back at past statements, this only started happening in February. Come on Absa - please can someone get back to me, what is going on?
