This morning I had to reactivate my administrator password for online banking, I received confirmation of the receipt of the my fax and email at 07h07 with the code 1-71284739. I confirmed at around 10h30 with the call centre that they are busy with the request. Phone at 12h30 again same story. At 15h45 I spoke to the team leader at the call center Zindali(?) who promised to phone me back in 15 minutes (I even gave him my branch manager's number's cellphone number). At 16h31 I called the center again. This time Mpho answered, the team leader refused to speak to me and at 16h52 a Philani came on the line and said that it was not their fault but another department and maybe they will try today or tomorrow they can assist if they get the paperwork?? So much for a 4 hour turnaround and know your customer. I have been a client with the bank since 1996 and have several mortgage bonds and my business account with them. Not once did anyone contact me to provide me with any feedback. So much for extremely lousy customer service. I wonder what Steve will say?? Must be part of the problem why I can not link two accounts opened in December 2012 to my existing profile?
