My mother is a pensioner of 75. She asked the STD bank CW to assist her to make a cash deposit at ATM. on 21 February2013. A bank Clerk in Bank uniform came out of bank did the ATM transaction for my mom, took the R500 cash gave my mom no paper slip, just told her the money would reflect within 48 hrs. 48hrs the money did not reflect since then my mother has made phone calls to call centre, Ombudsman;Michelle Fourie, When my mom went into the bank to speak to the Bank Manageress she refered my mom to Michelle Fourie who would handle the query. Since then hundreds of phonecalls, reference numbers-no resolve my mother is minus R500.00. We can never speak to the bank except via the call centre, Manageress is always busy, out or on leave. Michelle faithfully promised to resolve this matter. I spoke to her personally asked if we should go to the Police, make an Affidavit or case, to which she told me NO dont go that far we are attending to it. We have to view surveillance footage. Next call she told me the Footage is gone, cannot be found! But her &the bank Manageress are attending to it. Today my mom phoned again to be told: This case is getting nasty, they await our letter from Police
