STANDARD BANK FAILS TO SECURE CASH DEPOSIT AT ATM

After depositing R10 000 cash at an ATM, Standard Bank informed me that only R200 was in the envelope opened at there Cash Centre. I disputed it and laid a complaint on Monday 10 June 2013. Ref 53613805. On 19th June a lady phone from the Complaint Resolution Centre to inform me that the investigation was finalised and that I can view the footage of when the envelope was opened at the branch. Her closing words were "Sorry about the lost of your money." I was furious and did not get her name. No proof by Standard Bank or any footage that the deposit envelope was not opened from the time it was the deposited until the time it was officially checked. On 21 June I phoned the Resolution Centre to find out when I will get a written report so that I can report it to the ombudsman. I spoke to Olla who informed me that my complaint was not yet finalised and that Sfiso who is dealing with my complain will contact me with an update. 24 hours later and still no word from Standard Bank. I need that money desperately. It should not be my lost but Standard Bank's lost if they can't secure the depositing of cash at their ATM's
