I opened an business account in 2006. I had a 50/50 plit with another member. I submitted my CK documents and a letterhead with the ck number on it. The acccount was opened as a parnership and not a CC. As being a 50/50 split I saw no problem. Now 8 years later the one member has left and I am sole owner.
After 3 trips to the bank and waiting atleast one hour a time I havent been able to resolve anything. I am told I must close my account as it is no longer a partnership. Lose my banking history all my facilities and open a new account. My CK is still the same and my business is the same.
I am going for legal advise as I cannot get it resolved with Standard Bank Legal Department. I have been helped by Susan Doll who has been very accomodating but i am now extremely frustrated.
