After being a loyal client for 10 years plus, I decided to switch to a company that gave me a 60% cheaper premium. I gave notice on the 22 Feb 2013 that my cover needed to be cancelled at the end of Feb. The broker advised me that debit orders for the 1st of March had already been loaded on the system as the 3rd was on a Sunday. I would be refunded within 21 days. I can understand that. But then by the 22nd of March - no refund. I e-mailed the broker who reads the mail but fails to respond. I e-mailed the broker again on the 27th of March, but not expecting a reply, I phoned the customer care line (0860 22 55 63) and surprise (not really) the system answers and tells me that business hours are from 8am to 5pm and to please call back during the next business day. But today is Wednesday, 27th March 15:51.
