I spoke to one of the call centre agents about what I regarded as breach of contract. I asked to speak to her supervisor an she then referred me (Tracy) who I assume is the supervisor there. Tracy, after advising me that the amended policy had been mailed to me, which I haven't received (I specifically asked that my accounts be emailed to me) told me that she will not waive the excess even after admitting that it was the company's error, but told me that instead of the R750 excess, she would bring the amount down to R710.00. I just received a call from my husband saying that he'd just had to pay R750.00 excess. So what was that 'concession' all about, Tracy? Just a way to get the customer off the phone? I'm not happy, not at all. First you renege on your initial contract and then you renege on your promises.
