Old Mutual pays RA fundS to non-beneficiary!!!

My father passed away 5yrs ago. He left his daughters as beneficiaries on his RA and left his entire estate to his daughters. He had a girlfriend that he was not even married to who claimed to be a dependant of his. Old Mutual bypassed my fathers wishes and gave 75% of his RA fund to his Girl friend and only 25% to his two daughters who were still at school and dependant on him. Their reasons were that his girlfriend was in her 60's and didnt have a pension. He referred to his Girlfriend as his Friend in his will leaving her only the corsa car that he got for her 10yrs before his death. Old Mutual totally disrespected and bypassed by fathers Will and Testimony and on top of that took 5yrs to come to a decision as they were waiting for signed papers from my father so called girlfriend. If she was so desperate and in need of money why did it take her 5yrs to sign the papers and under what circumstances or right does Old Mutual have to disregard my fathers daughters and his wishes. Does this then mean having a Will and Beneficiaries is pointless. I am appalled by this and i don't believe any affidavit should go over a mans dying wishes. I will never use Old Mutual!!!
