Failure to do job costing me a great loss

I have one word for Santam. PATHETIC

Last year November my dad insured my goods against and breakin ins (or so he thought). Only on the 27th of DECEMBER Santam did send him an email that the policy will not cover, a MONTH after!!! Meanwhile people broke into my house before christmas and among other things a laptop worth more than R10 000!!!

Now Santam refuses to pay out because apparently we were not coverd. BUT they failed to let us know in time!!!

I`m DISGUSTED that because of one person who cant do their job -to send out a very important email in time to let a client know that in fact they are not covered for - caused me this loss.

I will never ever recommend anyone to make use of Santam after this. They have failed very loyal clients.

Santam is just pulling up their shoulders and saying no, we were not covered for that but meanwhile they failed to do their job properly. If they just did their job, contacted him immediatly to say that the we could`ve made a plan to make sure the goods were covered.

I`m so angry and disappointed and FRUSTRATED by this!!!
