Dear FNB, after threatening to leave for a while, today I have finally closed my account with you. Trying to get a replacement cc was the last straw. I applied online thinking it would be less hassle. Boy was I wrong! I applied on the 8th, its supposed to take 3 days mind you, then I went to the branch I selected to enquire after not hearing anything from you. They said they do not do card collections and I must go enquire at another branch. Which I did today, the 20th. Almost 2 weeks from my initial application. They said they do not have my card either and I must call card division.
1. 2 weeks is 9 days too long.
2. Why can no one tell me where my card is?
3. Why have the option to collect at a certain branch when I cant?
4. Why charge me for this inconvenience?
5. If you really wanted to keep me as a customer the first consultant wouldve offered to call card division on my behalf, but they didnt.

Im sorry FNB, but im leaving and this is not a threat (I have just spoken to card division to close my account) hopefully this will serve as a warning to others as well.
I now have a Virgin money card
