EARLY DEBIT

I took out a loan with capitec last year, and my contract states my debit date as the 25th. I got an sms this morning saying my last R500 has come off for Capitec. Am I confused or is today only the 20th? I emailed the customer care and a lady called me and said that "most" companies get paid today. WHAT? the 25th is the 25th! How can Capitec assume I will get paid 5 days early? Friday is a working day, as is Saturday (banking can be done) and then MONDAY is the 25th. Im absolutely furious. Now must I just not eat until Monday? What is the point of signing a contract then?
