I will not be choosing outsurance. After a chat with Mervyn today I realised that he is the most rude most arrogant call centre agent I have ever met. I actually had to cut the call because I could not believe that someone so rude was talking to me. When i called later on and asked to speak to someone else, it was Mervyn who called me back and subjected me to the same abuse!
MY OPINION IS THAT HE FACE SOME FORM OF DISCIPLINARY ACTION - PLEASE REFER TO THE VOICE RECORDINGS AND HEAR FOR YOURSELF WHAT I MEAN.

Here are some of his choice phrases:
"YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING."

"YOU HAVE NO CHOICE, YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH ME"

"YOU'VE BEEN ON THE LINE FOR 5 MINUTES ALREADY, YOU CAN HOLD ON FOR 10 MINUTES MORE"

"WHY DO YOU WANT ANOTHER QUOTE AFTER YOU GOT ANOTHER ONE (FROM ANOTHER BROKER)? BECAUSE WHAT YOU GOT IS NOT A BAD DEAL"

I was almost hurt at the abuse that I faced from this arrogant unprofessional call centre agent.

Is this the type of reputation that Outsurance likes to develop? Well then good luck because I will pay more to take out insurance from someone else.

I would like Mervyn's manager to call and apologise as well as tell me what action has been taken against him
