I send a letter to FNB (Addressed to the manager) that reach them 18Feb2013 (DHL proof of delivery). I request them to close my accounts. I then followed up by phone call and spoke to the person who told me he received it. He informed me it will receive their urgent attention, but some charges needs to be added.
A month pass and no reaction. Up till today these bank accounts are still active with no feedback.
I was always well treated by FNB and hope that this is not the new level of their service today.
