Cant negotiate with rates department in Home Loans

Hi All, I'm currently a Prestige Account holder, Bond, overdraft and Credit Card holder with Standard Bank. I have been paying my Bond and all other accounts vigorously. Always pay on time, always pay a little extra and always accept that I'm a customer of a reputable bank. I'm in the process of purchasing a new home. Standard Bank my bank, cannot offer me the same rate or the base home rate that I currently have with them. I just want to make the public aware that it does not matter that you a good customer, a customer that always pays on time or a future customer for more business. This counts for nothing! I'm very grateful for the loan and the bond. But I cannot believe that the bank cannot offer me a better rate. You cant negotiate? They don't want to listen to any of the reasons I can provide for giving me a better rate? I just think for us as consumers and good customers there should be loyalty returned! Standard Bank, my Bank, I'm very disappointed!! Regards.
