Dear Standard Bank,

We are writing this email as a complaint to Standard Bank - being our Bank of choice, and would appreciate if this could be attended to soonest. My wife and I are both Standard Bank account holders and as stated below, we are very disappointed with the kind of 'no-service' that we've received. In October 2012, we applied for a bond at Phoenix Regent Estate (townhouse) in Midrand but we didn't even get a response as to whether we would be granted the bond or not! Instead, Nedbank granted us a 90% bond even though we do not bank with them.

The attached is proof of our recent application and Standard Bank - our own bank, is offering us the lowest loan amount with the highest interest rate! And FNB, the bank that we do not bank with, is offering us something better than our own Bank. We are failing to understand this - please clarify. Note that this is our second attempt in applying for a home loan and I repeat, we are greatly disappointed and should we not get assistance ASAP, we would consider moving our accounts to the bank that considers giving us the best deal.

Your prompt response will be highly appreciated before considering MOVING FORWARD.
