First National Bank
Will not accept device return

Business & Finance

I ordered a iPhone for my wife which arrived last week Monday (11th March 2013). My wife has been complaining how slow the device is so we decided to take the phone in to a mobile phone store this weekend to get an educated opinion on it, they informed us that the device was indeed running extremely slowly. So I decided to contact FNB to have the phone returned and a refund made but was met with opposition from their side. Is this deal not covered by the Comsumer Protection Act which states that we have 5 working days upon receipt of the product to have request a cancellation of the deal and have a full refund made?

I have been with FNB for more than 20 years and have Never had a days trouble with them until now. From always being a Very happy customer of theirs to questioning my loyalty and exclusivity to them alone.
