SA Warranties
Need help!

Business & Finance

I purchased a vehicle from a friend in July 2012 with a warranty plan from SA Warranties. After completing the "Notification of change of ownership" forms and submitting them to the call center I was under the impression that all was in order.
8 March 2012, the vehicles turbo started giving trouble. After inspection by my mechanic, he informed me that a pipe leading from the turbo had a hole in. Another problem he noticed was that my cv joint needed replacement.

I contacted SA Warranties to inquire about my claims only to be told that the change of ownership was not done? The call center person told me that in order to change ownership they require all my invoices for previous services done on the vehicle. Where do they expect me to get all these invoices? I have only had to service the vehicle once since I bought it and it was done by VW? The logbook of the car is stamped by VW for all of its services except for one service done by another company by the previous owner?

Every time I phone the call center I speak to a new person and have to explain my problem from the start? I also had to repair the vehicle at my cost since I cant see them resolving my matter.
