I went on a cost saving exercise to see if I could find cheaper insurers than the one I'm currently with. The call centre pushed so hard to make the sale - repeating to me on numerous occasions how I'm going to save SO much cash with discovery rewards - and I can cancel my current tracker.

All is fine and I agree to. Go ahead with it. Once agreeing to the contract, another person phones me from discovery the next day. Reminds me to cancel my old tracker, and by the way, tells me I'm probably tied into the contract for 3 years. But when I was doing the cost exercise, the call centre lady couldnt tell me this? So am I saving? No, if I cancel my existing tracker, I'm in R1600 in cancellation fees. So what was the point.
I'm pretty sure the call centre lady was WELL aware of this. It's deceptive and we haven't even begun.
