I'M PAYING FOR SERVICE PLAN THAT DOES NOT EXIST

Somewhere in October 2012 I decided to cancel the service plan I had on my car after having claimed only once on the plan (As they refused to cover some of the mechanical problems on the car)
Since the inception of my contract with MFC my installment has remained the same even after cancellation. I've contacted MFC who explained to me that they received no refund for their once off payment they have paid "NEDIC" who are the underwriters of the policy. They then referred me to the "INNOVATIONGROUP" who I've received no joy with their answers.
They claim I don't qualify for any refund because have already claimed once. When I asked if I can still check my car in for service because I'm still paying for it, I was told that they will not pay it.
My question:
o Why should I continue to pay for something that does not exist - (The service plan that is of no benefit to me)
o Why were the terms and conditions not explained to me when I cancelled?
o Why were the policy with terms and conditions documents not sent to me via post or email?
I've been sent from pillar to strength with this query and should this not be sorted out, I will take further steps with the ombudsman.
