On 15th February 2013, an amount of R875, 00 was deducted from my banking account. I contacted African Bank Collections Centre (011 256 9562) on Tuesday 19th February, Thursday 21 February, Tuesday 26 February, twice on 6th March 2013, where I requested a lesser payment as I cannot afford the aforesaid amount. After speaking to consultants on the above dates, I was told by each one respectively that my matter would be handed to their supervisor who would then get back to me. The last call on 6th March, the consultant said someone would get back to me within 48hrs. Its now Monday 11 March 2013, and as yet, I have heard nothing from African Bank. I even agreed that the amount of R300 could either be debited from my banking account or deducted from persal. I was told that the account had already been handed over. I am frustrated as its not the first time that I am experiencing incompetence from consultants and/or supervisors from AFrican Bank. I am aware that I have defaulted payment, but Ive done my duty to call and to make some arrangement concering payment on this account. It would be appreciated if I could get some kind of response as I am at the end of my tether.
