Cant cancel policy

I phone 1Life Direct call centre on 16 January 2013 and spoke to Ricardo. I wanted to cancel my and my husbands policies as we have new policies with Sanlam at a much cheaper price with better cover. Firstly RIcardo tried to convince me to stay with 1Life by offering me cheaper rates. Why did I not pay those rates from the start??? Anyway, he gave me an email address, which I the emailed to request our policies to be cancelled. I received an automated reply saying I would be contacted within a few days. I have not yet been contacted. Yesterday I received a call from 1Life saying they want to talk to me about reviewing my policy. I told the person he must have made a mistake as I have cancelled my policy. I then went to my bankstatements just to see that my debit order for February has indeed been deducted, my husband's wasnt. I phoned and spoke Lindile who told me she cant put met through to cancellations as they are not answering their phones, but she will make sure they phone me before end of business. It is now 14h00 the following day, still no call. Terrible terrible service. Read your Consumers Protection Act 1Life, might catch some tips.!!!
