Wrong info provided leaves me without insurance!!!

I called Outsurance Outlife for a quote on LIFE cover. I was insured with 1Life and had no problems but since my wife worked there and has her insurance there, she wanted me to change. Even though the quoted premium was higher, we opted to move. I was told to CANCEL my LIFE cover with 1Life and the first premium went off. Yesterday I got a call from Outsurance informing me that they have received my blood results back and they can only offer me ACCIDENTAL cover!!! This is NOT what I asked for!! I have already cancelled my policy with 1Life Direct and now I am without life cover - which is what I wanted. How ridiculous is this?? If I wanted ACCIDENTAL COVER, I would have asked for it.

I want Outsurance to either have my cover with 1Life reinstated with no further costs/tests by myself or they need to provide me with the LIFE cover I requested with increasing premiums and increasing benefit. The documents that I received when I requested the quote did not state this and when I called after receiving it, the person I spoke to said that they will update it AFTER the commencement of the policy.

This is not my fault. I should not be penalised for an error or wrong advise provided by u
